Introduction

I’m Cara Michelle Connor, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a private practice in San Francisco’s Mission District where I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis as a Psychoanalytic Candidate at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California.

My clinical approach is informed by modern relational psychoanalysis, depth work, ritual spirituality and psychedelia. Having gained extensive experience in community mental health, hospitals, psychiatric inpatient units, and private psychotherapy settings, I lean into my academic, clinical, and professional training, in addition to my lived experience, to guide us on our journey together.

Echoing authentic relationship, our work will be entirely singular in its tone, scope, content, depth, frequency, and length.
